I have conveniently kept blogging off my to do list for the 2013 year, but I think it's time I give it another try! It's something that gives photographers an opportunity to share their work and themselves in a way that a website or facebook page doesn't quite do. After all when you're choosing your wedding photographer you are essentially inviting that person to stalk you for 10-13 hours during one of the most important days of your life, so it's always a good idea to get to know them to a certain extent.
Caroline and her marine fiancé, James, are getting married August of 2014. They opted for a winter engagement session, and I am so glad they did because we had the absolute most beautiful snow. It was this sparkly, thick snow that showed up in the photos perfectly. It was however only 20 degrees and felt colder, so for the second portion of the shoot we decided to check out the library at the Morton Arboretum. The first half of the session went so well it took all the pressure off to just have fun and be creative during the library portion. We did a little "storyline" for a few minutes with the posing, and I put the finishing result together for you all to see! Although this is not how their actual love story happened, it was fun to have them willing to go along with all my random ideas.
