I believe hiring a wedding photographer is about more than finding someone who can take great photos; it’s also inviting them to be a part of one of the biggest days of your life. I want you to know I do not take that lightly at all! I am so honored every single time a couple chooses me to be the one to capture something this important.
I’d like to share a few things with you about my style and process so you can make sure the vision you two have matches up with my goals for capturing your big day.

How I edit….

I want your photos to bring you back to your wedding day and tell you the full story, exactly how you remember it. For me that means keeping the editing pretty natural in order to capture the tones of the colors you carefully chose, as well as the lighting that accurately reflects the mood of the day. I’d like to think that if I edit your photos right that 50 years from now you’ll be able to enjoy looking through them and not feel like they’re dated (due to editing at least).

I love lots of movement and genuine interaction! Let's have you walk, skip, laugh, dance, kiss, tickle, hug, cuddle and just about anything else I can think of to make the photos not just a part of your "to do" list but some actual fun memories. There's a time on a wedding day for posed formal shots, and those are important, but then let’s have some fun with the rest of the time! In-between moments are my fave!
When/how do you get your photos….

You will get a preview of your photos within a week in an online gallery! I think that’s important because reliving the day right away is so fun first off, and also friends and family that couldn’t make it would love to see some images! Your final gallery will be a little bit of a wait, around 7-9 weeks. I like to make sure I don’t rush through such important images and I do not outsource any editing, I edit both my second shooter and my images from you day.

Enough time, plenty of photos, a second shooter, and rights to your images are all necessities in my opinion. That is why I have just the one wedding package that includes all of those important elements. You have enough choices while wedding planning, so trust me on this one! I start every couple with this package and we add additional hours or an engagement session throughout the process as needed.
